OPCO-EP funds continuing education for salaried veterinarians. All our Qualiopi courses are eligible from 4 cumulative hours, including e-learning.
OPCO-EP: what is it for veterinarians?
The Skills Operator for Local Businesses (OPCO-EP) is the joint body that collects and redistributes the single contribution to professional training and apprenticeship (CUFPA) of self-employed and associative veterinary structures. It replaced Actalians on 1 January 2020.
If you are a salaried veterinarian in a veterinary clinic or practice, OPCO-EP covers your OPCO-EP veterinary training. If you are self-employed, you fall under FIFPL.
How to fund your continuing education with OPCO-EP?
1. Choose a Qualiopi-certified course
OPCO-EP only funds courses delivered by a Qualiopi-certified provider. VETCYT is one (number 84 69 17848 69), so all our courses are eligible.
2. Meet the minimum duration
All courses, including e-learning, can be funded by OPCO-EP as long as the total duration exceeds 4 hours. All our paths comfortably exceed this threshold (the shortest is 17 hours).
3. Submit your file 3 weeks in advance
Important: funding requests must imperatively be finalized 3 weeks before the start of training. Connect to www.opcoep.fr to submit your application online.
4. Payment and reimbursement
You pay VETCYT for the course, then OPCO-EP reimburses you directly according to the approved funding amount. We do not offer direct (third-party) payment arrangements.
