Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 June 2026
VETCYT places great importance on the protection of your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
1. Data controller
VETCYT — SARL, 559 route de la Croix du Ban, 69290 Pollionnay, France. Contact: gregory.cazaux@vetcyt.com — +33 4 28 29 29 13.
2. Data collected and purposes
Contact form. When you write to us via the site’s form, we collect the data you provide: first and last name, email address, phone (optional), subject and content of your message. This data is used solely to handle and respond to your request. The form requires your explicit consent (checkbox) before any submission.
Important: messages sent via the form are not stored on the site. They are only transmitted by email to our team. No copy is kept in the site’s database.
Course registration. If you register for a course, your data is processed via our partner learning platform (LearnyBox) and as part of the administrative and financial management of the training (agreements, OPCO-EP / FIFPL funding, Qualiopi obligations). These processes are based on the performance of the training contract and on our legal obligations.
Audience measurement. We use Google Analytics to analyse site traffic and improve our content. These audience-measurement cookies are only placed after your consent via the cookie banner. We also use Google Search Console to monitor the site’s visibility in search results (this tool does not use a visitor-side cookie).
Anti-spam protection. The contact page may use the Google reCAPTCHA service to combat automated submissions (spam). This service may place cookies and collect technical data. Its use is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms.
3. Legal basis
Depending on the case, our processing is based on: your consent (contact form, analytics cookies), the performance of a contract (course registration), or compliance with a legal obligation (accounting, obligations related to vocational training).
4. Data recipients
Your data is intended for VETCYT’s teams. It may be shared with our technical providers (host OVH, the LearnyBox training platform, Google services for audience measurement and anti-spam) strictly within the scope of the purposes described. Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
Some providers (notably Google) may process data outside the European Union. Such transfers are governed by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses).
5. Retention period
Contact requests transmitted by email are kept for as long as necessary to handle your request, then archived or deleted. Data related to registrations and courses is kept in accordance with the applicable legal periods (notably accounting periods and those linked to Qualiopi / funding-body obligations). Audience-measurement data is kept according to Google Analytics settings.
6. Cookies
A consent banner allows you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies (audience measurement). Cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the site, as well as the cookie storing your consent choice, do not require your prior consent.
The consent cookie records your choice (accept / refuse) for a maximum of 6 months, so as not to ask you again on every visit. You may change your choice or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings.
7. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, contact us at: gregory.cazaux@vetcyt.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority — www.cnil.fr) if you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the regulations.
8. Security
VETCYT implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against any unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction (secure hosting, HTTPS connection, site hardening).
9. Changes
This policy may be updated at any time to reflect legal or technical developments. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
