What is FIFPL for a self-employed veterinarian?

The Interprofessional Training Fund for Self-Employed Professionals (FIFPL) is the joint body that collects and redistributes the contribution to professional training of self-employed veterinarians. Each self-employed practitioner contributes and can, in return, benefit from FIFPL funding for veterinary training according to the current scale.

How to get FIFPL funding?

1. Check your eligibility

You must be a practising self-employed veterinarian, up to date with your professional training contribution (URSSAF). Salaried vets fall under OPCO-EP, not FIFPL.

2. Choose an eligible course

FIFPL only funds courses whose sessions last at least 6 consecutive hours. At VETCYT, sessions are organised in validating blocks. The topic to enter on the FIFPL form is 'clinical biology'.

3. Submit your application

Connectez-vous sur www.fifpl.fr et déposez votre demande au plus tard 3 semaines avant le début de la formation. Joignez la convention Qualiopi VETCYT (que nous vous fournissons), le programme détaillé et le devis.

4. Track your application
