The Clinical Pathologist behind the microscope

 Dr. Eve Ramery founded Vetcyt in January 2016.

Graduated from Liege Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, she practiced one year before starting a PhD thesis and becoming assistant in Clinical Pathology in Liege Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (2005-2015). Meanwhile, she underwent her Clinical Pathology residency (2009-2014), multiplying externships in Europe, USA and Canada. In 2014, she became double boarded of the American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP, sp. ClinPath) and The European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathologyelle (ECVCP). She authored multiple articles and scientif conferences in France and abroad.   (list of publications).

 

 

Clinical Pathologist ? A specialist in cytology, hematology, et biochemistry

The Clinical Pathologist is a specialist in cytology, hematology, biochemistry, and laboratory management. He analyses small samples, in particular all you can collect with a needle and a seringue: blood, biological fluids, fine needle aspiration. The Clinical Pathologist is distinct from the Anatomopathologist, who analyses bigger samples: full bodies (necropsy), resection pieces, biopsies. Diplomas delivered by the ACVP and ECVCP boards guarantee high quality training of minimum 3 years
